Illustrations

For my limited edition book The Secret Garden I choose to make my own illustrations to accent the beautiful imagery the story already creates. The book was published in 1911 so the illustrations in other versions usually reflect that time frame. Since this is a classic children’s book, I felt like it was appropriate to have illustrations. I wanted the illustrations to have a more modern to rejuvenate the story and appeal to the current generation of children to young adults. All of the illustrations were hand drawn in Adobe Illustrator.
